General Assembly Meeting
This week we will be hosting Rehmann at the general assembly meeting Thursday, September 27th, from 6-8:00 p.m. in room 1360. Be prepared to meet with your assigned committees right at 6:00 p.m. This event is business causal, NO JEANS. Food will be provided from Kazoopy's.
Community Service Events
There are three community service events posted on the website. You must sign up prior to attending. The community service events are listed as followed:
Habitat for Humanity is September 29. Loaves and Fishes is on October 13. For this event we will be partnering with NABA and Accounting Club to participate in a campus wide day of volunteering. All volunteer hours must be achieved through BAP volunteer events so make sure you're signing up! Tutoring
All candidates are required to complete 2 hours of tutoring each week throughout the semester. Tutoring will be held from 5:00PM - 7:00PM in Schneider Hall. Tuesday tutoring is in room 1220 and Wednesday tutoring is in room 1280.
there will be individual tutoring in the Accountancy Department Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Upcoming Professional Events
The Zhang Career Center will be hosting a Practice Interview Day Friday, September 28th. Registration closes Tuesday, September 25th, at 11:55 p.m.
Friday, September 28th, the college is welcoming college's dean, Satish Deshpande, Ph.D., for the first presentation of the 2018-19 Mercantile Bank of Michigan Breakfast Speaker Series. He will give a presentation titled “The Future of Business Education: Strategic Implications for the Haworth College of Business.” The presentation will begin at 8 a.m. with breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m., and will take place at the Fetzer Center in room 1035. RSVP by Tuesday, September 25th, at 5:00 p.m. https://wmich.edu/business/mercantile-rsvp Friday, October 5th, at noon in the deans conference room 2150 Schneider, the annual lunch for alumni award recipients.
