General Assembly Meeting 

This weeks' meeting is Meet the Firms Kick-Off Event. There will be representatives from multiple employers present to help us prepare for Meet the Firms next week - come with questions! Dress is business casual. Food will be provided.

Dues

Because Meet the Firms is so early in the semester, the scholarship and dues deadline is September 18. This allows us to know who is able to get into Meet the Firms at 6 p.m. before the general student body. Please contact an eboard member if you have any concerns.

LinkedIn Photo Shoot

There is an opportunity to get professional headshots this Thursday, September 12 in Schneider Hall room 3150 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. This event is free to you and you do not need an appointment. We hope everyone will take advantage of this opportunity by dressing up showing up!

Application Deadline

Applications need to be filled out no later that Wednesday, September 19. Please contact an eboard member if you have any concerns.

Casual vs. Professional Dress

There can be some confusion on what is considered business casual and what is considered business professional. Business Professional is strictly a matching suit. Business casual has a broader range of acceptable options. We recommend slacks and a button down shirt or polo for men. Women can wear a polo with slacks, a blouse with slacks or a conservative skirt, or a conservative dress. Solid colors and patterns are both acceptable for business casual. There is a general infogram here. Navigating proper dress can be difficult; if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact an eboard member.
