General Assembly Meeting
This week we will be hosting Meet the Firms, an accounting focused career fair. The event will take place at the Fetzer Center located next to Schneider Hall. If you have completed your application and have paid your semester dues you may enter the event at 6:00PM. If you have not completed your application and have not paid your dues then you may enter at 6:30PM with the general public. Please come dressed in business professional attire and prepared to network with firms. Light refreshments will be provided by the Fetzer Center. Dues
The deadline for dues is Wednesday, September 19th. You WILL NOT be able to enter Meet the Firms at 6:00 PM before the general public if you did not pay your dues. If you are unable to pay your dues, for whatever reason, please do not hesitate to reach out to an E-Board member or our Faculty Advisor, Dr. Cari Burke.

There are three community service events posted on the website. You must sign up prior to attending. The community service events are listed as followed:
Gibbs House is this Saturday, September 22, sign up still available. Habitat for Humanity is September 29. Loaves and Fishes is on October 13. For this event we will be partnering with NABA and Accounting Club to participate in a campus wide day of volunteering. All volunteer hours must be achieved through BAP volunteer events so make sure you're signing up! Cole Gavlas will be hosting an open house this, Friday, September 21st, from 3-4:30 p.m. The office is located at 2401 West Centre Ave Portage, MI 49024. RSVP by the end of the day today Wednesday, September 19 to Kelly Kolassa at [email protected] or 269-329-6000.

Tutoring
All candidates are required to complete 2 hours of tutoring each week throughout the semester. Tutoring will be held from 5:00PM - 7:00PM in Schneider Hall. Tuesday tutoring is in room 1220 and Wednesday tutoring is in room 1280.
There will be individual tutoring in the Accountancy Department Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Please be prepared to sign up before entering Meet the Firms Thursday, September 20th. Applications & Registration
If you are a returning member please go to the Member Registration form to download and read the information packet as well as fill out all fields in the form. You WILL NOT be able to enter Meet The Firms before the general public if you do not fill out the registration.
All other students looking to become an Exploratory Member or a Candidate please download and read the information packet found on the Candidate and Exploratory Application page and fill in the fields to the corresponding form. The Zhang Career Center will be hosting a Resume workshop this Friday, September 21st. Registration closes Wednesday, September 19th, at 11:55 p.m.
They will also be hosting a Practice Interview Day Friday, September 28th. Registration closes Tuesday, September 25th, at 11:55 p.m. If you missed a BAP meeting this semester, attending one of these events will count toward a professional makeup.
