General Assembly Meeting
We will be hosting MICPA at our General Assembly meeting this week. Please plan to wear your Beta polo, with either dress-pants or khakis. If you have not received a polo, please wear business casual attire. Thursday's presentation will be over the CPA exam, scholarships, student memberships & being a CPA.
Pizza from Cottage Inn will be provided for dinner, salads will also be available for individuals with dietary needs. Social Media

Dues & Applications
The deadline for dues is Thursday, January 25th. All applications will be due by Tuesday, January 23rd. If you are doing an internship Spring 2018 you still have to fill out the member application.

Tutoring
In order for candidates to be initiated into Beta Alpha Psi, they must have 20 tutoring hours completed by the end of the semester. Tutoring is from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in room 1280 on Tuesdays and in room 1360 on Wednesdays.
This week only, any members participating in tutoring will receive hours toward their REQUIRED community service!! Email the reporter Nolan Bradford at [email protected] asap with the dates and times you are able to attend. If regularly scheduled tutoring times do not work for you, please click here to get to the tutoring page to download the outside tutoring form. Outside tutoring must be approved in advance by Dawn Mason or Dr. C. Business Bash
Want to learn more about Beta Alpha Psi & other student groups? The Business Bash will be Tuesday, January 23rd in Schneider Hall. There will be a sign-up sheet if you are interested in representing Beta Alpha Psi at the general assembly meeting this week Thursday, January 18th.

Members could not attend last weeks info night need to make up the event, you are able to make it up with a professional make-up event.
Friday, January 26th *Mercantile Bank of Michigan Breakfast Speaker Series - Peter Gistelinck, president and CEO, Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, 2150 Schneider Hall, 7:30 to 9 a.m. Fill out the outside professional make-up event form & submit it to the reporter Nolan Bradford if you do attend. |
