We will be hosting Yeo & Yeo at our General Assembly meeting this week. Please plan to wear your Beta polo, with either dress-pants or khakis. If you have not received a polo, please wear business casual attire. Thursday's presentation will include Accounting Jeopardy. Food will be provided by Yeo & Yeo.

Dues & Applications
The deadline for dues is Thursday, January 25th. All applications will be due by Tuesday, January 23rd. If you are doing an internship Spring 2018 you still have to fill out the member application.
Dues for: Members: $60.00 Candidates: $85.00 Exploratory Participants: $40.00 Payment Options PayPal Check addressed to: Beta Alpha Psi Habitat for HUMANITYOur first community service event is this Saturday, January 27th. Check out the community service page to sign up. You will be doing construction type work inside and or outside so be sure to dress accordingly. To attend you need to fill out all forms and bring them with you to the site. Hope to see you there!

Tutoring
In order for candidates to be initiated into Beta Alpha Psi, they must have 20 tutoring hours completed by the end of the semester. Tutoring is from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in room 1280 on Tuesdays and in room 1360 on Wednesdays.
If regularly scheduled tutoring times do not work for you, please click here to get to the tutoring page to download the outside tutoring form. Outside tutoring must be approved in advance by Dawn Mason or Dr. C. Upcoming Makeup Events
Members who could not attend last weeks general assembly meeting need to make up the event, you are able to make it up with a professional make-up event.
Friday, January 26th *Mercantile Bank of Michigan Breakfast Speaker Series - Peter Gistelinck, president and CEO, Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, 2150 Schneider Hall, 7:30 to 9 a.m. The Zhang Career Center will be hosting a Resume Critique Day that will take place on Friday, January 26th, 2018. Also a Practice Interview Day on Friday, February 2nd, 2018. Attending Resume Critique Day: Kellogg's Rick Ricca, former VP of Sales at Blistex Eaton Coyote Logistics Kinexus TMP The companies listed above will be attending each event with the exception that Steelcase, Inc. will be attending Practice Interview Day rather than Kinexus. Login to your BroncoJobs and search the title of each event and click the green "Apply" button. Be sure to also upload your updated resume. Then you may select your time slot in which you would like to participate. This does count as a SPURS event. Fill out the outside professional make-up event form & submit it to the reporter Nolan Bradford at [email protected] if you do attend. |
