General Assembly Meeting
This week we will be hosting KPMG at the general assembly meeting Thursday, October 11th, from 6-8:00 p.m. in room 1360. Be prepared to meet with your assigned committees right after announcements. This event is business causal, NO JEANS OR LEGGINGS. Food will be provided from Jimmy Johns.
Keep in mind that all E-Board member positions will be open for Spring 2019. We will be sharing details on each position at the meeting. Please note that next week, Thursday, October 18th, we will not meet due to Fall Break. Community Service Events
All of the community service events for the semester are posted on the website. You must sign up prior to attending.
Volunteers needed for the following events: Loaves and Fishes is on October 13. Ministry with Community is on November 3. Rickman House is on November 18. During the month of November, we will be collecting winter gear (hats, gloves, scarves, socks). Donated items will go to Lakeside Juvenile Center and the Detroit Gospel Mission. Collection will be on November 8th and 15th. See Maggie Blair or Felicia Ayalew for more information. All volunteer hours must be achieved through BAP volunteer events so make sure you're signing up! Tutoring
All candidates are required to complete 2 hours of tutoring each week throughout the semester. Tutoring will be held from 5:00PM - 7:00PM in Schneider Hall. Tuesday tutoring is in room 1220 and Wednesday tutoring is in room 1280.
There will be individual tutoring in the Accountancy Department Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Click here for the BAP Tutoring Orientation Handbook. Please note tutor training is required for all candidates. You can access the tutor training video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FA372iLP9xg&feature=youtube. If you missed a BAP meeting this semester, attending one of these events will count toward a professional makeup. If you have any questions about making up an event, reach out to any E-Board member or Faculty Advisor.
Upper Level Tutoring
We will be providing upper level tutoring sessions at the following dates and times:
