General Assembly Meeting

We will be hosting Stryker at our General Assembly meeting this week. They will be providing us with grinders from Kazoopy's. This event will be business causal.

Dues

The deadline for dues has passed, and if you have not yet paid it is expected that you will get in contact with TIM IMMEDIATELY in order to continue your participation with the chapter. If you do not contact Tim to make arrangements to pay, you will not be allowed to attend the meeting this week.

STAR Training

In preparation for the STAR workshop and Mock Interviews there is a mandatory STAR Training. Check out the STAR Training sign-up schedule under the Event Schedules page. The form deadline is Thursday, February 22nd. 

Tutoring

In order for candidates to be initiated into Beta Alpha Psi, they must have 20 tutoring hours completed by the end of the semester. Tutoring is from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in room 1280 on Tuesdays and in room 1360 on Wednesdays. It is important that candidates begin to come to tutoring sessions as soon as possible, so that hours are completed on time.

If regularly scheduled tutoring times do not work for you, please contact a faculty advisor.

Service Hours Deadline

Each Member and Candidate needs 8 hours of volunteer hours per semester. The deadline for required service hours will be Saturday, April 14th, 2018. All hours need to be a completed with a Beta Alpha Psi sponsored event. If you have any questions email our Community Service Officer Micheal VanScooder III,  at [email protected].

Looking for a chance to gain some volunteer hours? Saturday, March 31st, 2018 Ministry with Community will hold a lunch service event that will last 2 hours. The deadline to signup for this event is this Thursday, February 15th. Check out the community service page for more information. 

For anyone who is a VITA Volunteer, print out the form to track your hours and get it signed by Cheri before the deadline that hours need to be completed. ​

Professional makeup

Fill out the outside professional make-up event form & submit it to the Reporter Nolan Bradford at [email protected] if you do attend. 

Mock interviews

Mock interviews will be held on Friday, April 6th. There will be multiple time slots available to sign up. Each interview will last 40 minutes. This is a REQUIRED BAP event, be sure to mark your calendars. There will also be a lunch in with employers that day. You must sign up prior to the event. More information will be available soon.
